Six friends were caught pulling cubs from a tree near Berrington Village Apartments before taking photos with them and dropping one on the ground beside a fence in a viral video on April 16. Officials said the discarded bear was separated from her mother and siblings during the upsetting interaction, and their employees have spent the last two weeks stabilizing the traumatized animal.

Ana María Knezevich Henao, a 40-year-old Florida resident originally from Colombia, was declared missing on February 5 after she failed to meet a friend to travel from Madrid to Barcelona for a conference. David Knezevich was taken into custody on Saturday as he returned from his home country of Serbia, where he had been for months. He ha snow been charged with kidnapping. A boat tour was cruising down the Chobe River in Namibia on March 22 when it came across a pod of hippos bathing in the water. Witnesses claim the skipper had approached the group from a 'safe distance' when suddenly a large, male hippo charged at the boat.
