The Duchess, who was also honoured with a naming ceremony and received a handwoven Nigerian fabric, added: 'Thank you so much for the kindness and for these beautiful names, I'm very grateful. I can't wait to come back.' Her husband Prince Harry also spoke to the gathering, describing those in the room as his 'in laws', adding: 'I'll skip the protocol because at this point we're all family.' He continued: 'Thank you for welcoming my wife and myself to Nigeria. It's our first visit. It certainly won't be our last. Thank you for the naming ceremony. I don't know how I got dragged into that as well, but to be able to witness it as well next to my wife, it means a huge amount to both of us but especially her, so thank you for that.' Their visit comes after Meghan revealed on her Archetypes podcast in October 2022 that she found out through the DNA-based test that she was '43 per cent Nigerian'.

Donna Ongsiako (left) was attacked by Brennan Doyle, 16, in her New Jersey home (inset) in 2013. The teen forced his way inside and stabbed her repeatedly before stealing her car and leaving her for dead. Doyle claimed to have taken psychedelic mushrooms which turned him 'into a monster' before he attacked her. The teen was sentenced to 15 years in prison. in 2015.

The actor grew up in NYC and was a firefighter in Brooklyn before he quit in the 1980s to pursue an acting career.

New video captures the harrowing moment a mob of angry citizens surrounded a man suspected of viciously slashing an 11-year-old girl in the head with a box cutter. In the video, Shaquan Cummings, 30, who also allegedly punched a 43-year-old woman during his bloody crime-spree on Friday afternoon, is cornered by a crowd of furious Harlem residents. On Friday night, Cummings was charged with two counts of assault and acting in a manner that is injurious to a child.

Flash Shelton, known professionally as the 'Squatter Hunter,' revealed the most brazen cases he's encountered in his storied career as a squatter-remover. As squatters continue to hijack homes and buildings across the United States, some are growing so emboldened that they even rent out the captive houses on short-term rental platforms like Airbnb. Hired by embattled homeowners to try to flush illegal residents from their properties, Shelton said has come across squatters who use Airbnb, first to access the house, then to rent it out. Shelton said that Airbnb needs to take more responsibility and begin vetting their users.

A distraught mom revealed how her teen son almost died after his religious cross necklace electrocuted him 'like a hot coil' in a freak accident that left the jewelry scorched into his flesh. Danielle Davis, 38, was awoken by a piercing scream coming from her son Rayce Ogdahl's room on the night of April 30. The mom-of-six went to investigate, before she was met with the horrific sight of her 16-year-old son covered in 'scorched burns' across his neck. Rayce told his mom that he had been electrocuted by his own necklace after the cross chain came into contact with an exposed prong of a plug. Olivia Munn said she underwent the fifth surgery of her breast cancer battle last month in a bid to see more of her two-year-old son's childhood. 'I have now had a full hysterectomy. 'Doing a full hysterectomy was a big decision to make, but it was the best decision for me because I needed to be present for my family.' Dozens of students walked out of Duke University's graduation ceremony in protest of commencement speaker Jerry Seinfeld. As the comedian was introduced, video shows students carried flags and chanted 'free Palestine' as they marched out of Wallace Wade Stadium on Sunday. A flyer distributed on campus said, 'When you see students walking out, follow them.' Seinfeld visited Israel and has vocally supported it since October 7 when Hamas killed 1,200 people and abducted 252 others.

At least 41 people have been killed on Indonesia's Sumatra island after torrential downpours washed cold lava down Mount Marapi and devastated helpless villages. Hours of heavy rain over the weekend displaced chunks of volcanic rock and sent them hurtling down toward the settlements below, while a nearby river breached its banks and sent floodwater gushing through the streets. Those who were not killed by the cold lava were swept away by a deluge that inundated roads, homes and mosques, ultimately submerging almost 200 buildings. The death toll is expected to climb in the coming hours, with rescuers still searching for 17 still missing - three in Agam district and 14 in Tanah Datar.
