A model-turned DEI manager who was fired because she posed in front of an Israeli flag emblazoned with swastikas is now suing because her First Amendment rights were 'violated'. Mashal Sherzad, 29, was fired from her position as the diversity, equity and inclusion manager at the University of Minnesota because of now seemingly deleted pictures that she accidentally uploaded onto her public social media of her posing in front of the controversial flag. Sherzad began her role in October, 2023, and travelled to Barcelona to attend a pro-Palestinian rally just two months later. She shared pictures of herself from the rally - including snaps of her posing in front of the swastika-embezzled Israeli flag. She was fired on January 16 from her DEI manager job for the university's School of Public Health after the Dean, Melinda Pettigrew, said her employment would create a 'real risk of significant disruption.' Sherzad has since filed a lawsuit against the school for violating First Amendment right to free speech - along with claims of discrimination.

Political analysts suggest Joe Biden's team might be a tad anxious after he agreed to debate Trump ahead of the presidential election in November. Biden's confirmation during an interview with Howard Stern sparked mocking from Republicans and speculation about staff working on Biden's campaign as to what little control they had over Biden. Trump swiftly responded, expressing a readiness to debate anytime. The debates, a tradition since 1976, are seen as an opportunity for both candidates to showcase their strengths. The Commission on Presidential Debates has already set dates and locations, urging participation from both campaigns.

A Pennsylvania man shot and killed his beloved wife and daughter after getting into an argument with the women whilst cleaning his gun. Roger Hanks, 76, of Chester County was arrested at his home on Thursday evening and charged with first-degree murder. The charges came after police were called to the 200 block of Wiltshire Drive, where Hanks lived with his 75-year-old wife Judith, at around 6:15pm. Hanks and his wife lived in a $746,000, four bed and three bathroom single-family home, where the incident took place. After being found in his garage and taken into custody, Hanks admitted that he had shot his wife and daughter, Emily, 37.

The deaths of archaeologist Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon have long been linked to the Pharaoh's curse that threatens 'death by disease' upon anyone who disturbed King Tutankhamun's tomb. However, a new study has claimed there is a biological reason behind the deaths of the two men and more than 20 others who mysteriously died following the discovery in 1922. Another five men were snapped lunching inside the tomb following the discovery - and they all died from various illnesses in their 50s. However, inscriptions found inside other burials throughout Egypt suggested the ancient people knew about the dangers that lurked inside. The text included areas were 'forbidden' because of 'evil spirits.'

Terrifying footage was filmed of a massive tornado was touching down in Nebraska on Friday, captured from the upper floors of an apartment block. Video shows swirling storm clouds while a siren sounds in the background as the camera zooms out to reveal the tornado's full scale. Storm chasers also documented a tornado crossing a highway near Omaha, revealing the destructive power of the funnel-shaped storm which flipped a massive big rig truck and flattened nearby homes, ripping them to shreds.

The unidentified woman was filmed verbally abusing an airline's staff at the counter after she reportedly missed her flight. 'Get me the f*** up on the next flight you motherf****rs!' she is heard yelling before she demanded to speak to secretary of transportation Pete Buttigieg. She repeatedly screamed: 'Call Pete Buttigieg right now to handle the TSA! 'Call that motherf***** right now! That useless motherf*****' The woman then slammed her fist on the counter, sparking laughter from one of the employees. Despite the woman's aggression, the airline's employees appeared to laugh at her antics throughout the ordeal.

It seems the feud between Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift is far from over and the reality star is attempting to ruffle the hitmaker's feathers in her own way.  After the release of her new album The Tortured Poets Department last Friday, it has been speculated that the song titled thanK you aIMee, is about her feud with the reality TV star, as the capitalised letters spell out KIM.  'The song is her final word,' a source told Us Weekly on Thursday, adding: 'Taylor has moved on and is not looking back.'

Playing cards is loved around the world, but a new brainteaser swapped a club for a four-leaf clover and challenges viewers to find it in under one minute. The Cloisters or Flemish Hunting Deck, constitutes the only known complete 52-card deck of cards from the 15th century. The cards originated in the southern Netherlands and feature four suits, each consisting of a king, queen, jack and ten numeral or pip cards.

San Antonio police were called to the Mariachi Bar inside Mi Tierra Café on Wednesday evening after attorney Leigh Cutter and Bexar County Court 7 Judge Melanie Lira had a heated verbal exchange. According to police records, Cutter accused Lira of assaulting her and 'disseminating rumors regarding her ex-boyfriend' during an alcohol-fueled meetup for legal professionals. The lawyer told police Lira 'was physically pushing her and verbally menacing her.' She characterized their exchange as a "'relentless confrontation.' However, a police officer noted that there was no clear evidence of assault in the footage. A report alleges that both women were intoxicated. Lira, meanwhile, told police that Cutter had been harassing her online for some time, and she simply wanted to know what her problem was. Both women have taken legal action against each other.

The 41-year-old pop star  - who recently showed off her sculpted physique - quietly  resolved her legal battle with her 71-year-old father according to TMZ Friday and the singer is said to be furious over the matter. According to the site, Jamie will not be paying a cent and his Toxic hitmaker daughter will be paying for his legal bills in what is said to be a stunning turn of events.
