Alec Baldwin (middle and right) has been caught on camera smacking the phone of an anti-Israel protester who accosted him inside a New York City coffee shop. The protester hassles him to say 'free Palestine' and claims he should be in jail for the shooting death of Rust cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. 'Alec can you please say free Palestine one time,' the protester repeatedly shouted at Baldwin. 'Free Palestine, Alec, just one time and I'll leave you alone. I'll leave you alone, I swear, just say free Palestine one time.' The actor is then seen punching the protester's phone. The incident comes as tension between Israeli and Palestinian photos reaches boiling point across the US. Baldwin's criminal trial for the shooting is set to begin on July 10, after a grand jury indicted him for involuntary manslaughter back in January.

On the first day of his New York 'hush money' trial, Donald Trump appears to have breached his gag order by criticizing the jury during an interview. Judge Juan Merchan had prohibited Trump from attacking jurors or making public statements about them. Trump's comments about the jury composition being predominantly Democratic comes ahead of a hearing to determine if he should face contempt charges for violating the gag order, with the hearing set to be held without the jury present.

Newly released body camera footage shows Washington police chase a carjacking suspect inside a bingo hall and then shoot him dead after he pointed a gun at the officers. Clark County Sheriff's Office deputies tracked down two carjacking suspects - one male and one female - to an American Legion parking lot around 11 a.m. on April 13. The male suspect, later identified as 41-year-old Benjamin Steven Woods, refused to comply with the deputies and ran into the packed bingo hall while being chased by the police dog.

A Colorado man, David Lechner, has been jailed for life without parole after murdering his wife just a day before their divorce was finalized. Tracy Lechner's body was found in her garage after being shot dead. Lechner claimed self-defense but prosecutors uncovered a premeditated murder plot involving the purchasing of a getaway car, tracking unit, and weapons. Deputy DA Tory Reavis stressed it was a calculated murder, not self-defense, with the aim of avoiding divorce and to gain sole custody of their children.

Kenneth Paul Farler III (right), 38, was indicted on Monday in connection to the fatal shooting of his 15-year-old daughter Kendra (left) on April 14. Dayton police found Kendra with a shotgun wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene. Farler and his wife told police his 15-year-old non-verbal, autistic stepson had accidental shot Kendra. 'This defendant was on probation at the time of the shooting, having been convicted of trafficking in cocaine less than a month ago. He has been arrested approximately 40 times over the past 20 years and has previously been sentenced to the penitentiary,' said Montgomery County Prosecutor Mat Heck.

Mike Dragich, 34, fought and subdued an 8-ft alligator in Jacksonville, Florida, on Sunday night. A licensed alligator trapper, Dragich was at a hockey game with his family when he heard about the rogue gator. Despite not having his trapping equipment with him, the MMA fighter rushed to the scene and captured the enraged alligator with his bare hands.
