Around 500 prominent Hollywood figures have signed an open letter condemning Jewish director Jonathan Glazer Oscars acceptance speech, accusing him of likening Israel's assault on Gaza to the treatment of Jews during the Holocaust. Parts of the letter were published Monday by Variety. It was signed by luminaries such as Debra Messing, Eli Roth, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Julianna Margulies. After winning the award for Best International Feature for his film Zone of Interest, British-born Glazer took to the podium and said that his movie showed 'where dehumanization leads at its worst. It's shaped all of our past and present.' 'Right now, we stand here as men who refute their Jewishness and the Holocaust being hijacked by an occupation which has led to conflict for so many innocent people,' he continued. 'Whether the victims of October - whether the victims of October the 7th in Israel or the ongoing attack on Gaza, all the victims of this dehumanization, how do we resist?'

I need help over a decade from now when she wants me to buy her a prom dress that Vanessa would be proud of, because now I have one purpose in life going forward - to raise my daughters in a way Vanessa would be proud of and I can't do that alone. 'I can try to be the best father in the world but I can never be a mother.' Michael continued: 'The last thing I said to Vanessa the night she died, when we were walking out is, I grabbed her and I kissed her on her cheek, and I said she is the most amazing mother in the world. And she said it was because we were a great team. 'Goodbye, my love, my corazón (heart). I will love you and miss you forever.'
