David Beckham, 48, (right and inset wife Victoria) is suing Mark Wahlberg (left) and his business associates after the partnership with F45, which saw the midfielder promote his own range of personalized workouts, went south in a dispute over shares he was allegedly promised as part of the arrangement. The case has rumbled on for several years after Beckham and golfing legend Greg Norman filed cases against F45 in Californian courts in October 2022 - before a judge reportedly ruled they had to file separate lawsuits. Beckham's firm, David Beckham Ventures Ltd (DBVL) had earlier sought damages of as much as $18.85million from F45, according to filings made last year.

The man who set himself on fire outside former president Donald Trump 's Manhattan trial has been named as Florida native resident Max Azzarello. Azzarello, 37, is in critical condition after setting himself on fire on Friday. He described himself as an investigative researcher in a blog post published just hours before he self-immolated as horrified witnesses and CNN cameras watched. Before setting himself on fire, Azzarello dropped fliers that included a link to a Substack post explaining his actions. The blog was titled: 'I have set myself on fire outside the Trump Trial.' The conspiracy theorist claimed on the blog post that his 'extreme act of protest' was to draw light to what he called a 'totalitarian con.' He wrote the government was 'about to hit us with an apocalyptic fascist world coup.' Azzarello added: 'To my friends and family, witnesses and first responders, I deeply apologize for inflicting this pain upon you. But I assure you it is a drop in the bucket compared to what our government intends to inflict.' On his LinkedIn profile, where he seemingly appears in a photo with Bill Clinton , Azzarello wrote: 'We've got a secret fascism problem.'

The New York Attorney General's office asked a judge to void the $175 million bond secured in the New York civil fraud case. In a filing on Friday, AG Letitia James' office said Trump and other defendants in the case failed to show there is enough identifiable collateral to back the bond. The lawyers asked Judge Arthur Engoron to require Trump and other defendants to put up a replacement bond within seven days of ruling on the issue.

Fred Neulander, left, former senior rabbi of a Cherry Hill synagogue, has died in jail where he was serving a life sentence for orchestrating his wife's murder in 1994. Neulander's death comes after he was found non-responsive and attempts to revive him were unsuccessful. The case, which shook the Philadelphia region, involved Neulander hiring hitmen to kill his Carol Neulander, his wife, so he could pursue an affair. Neulander's accomplices have long completed their sentences in 2014. Attempts to overturn his own conviction in 2016 were rejected.

Newly released bodycam footage shows the moment officers confront a 'scammer' whose alleged scheme ended with an Ohio homeowner shooting an Uber driver dead. William Brock, 81, is accused of killing Lo-Letha Toland-Hall, 61, after mistakenly believing she was a scammer. Brock told cops he had been receiving menacing phone calls all day before Toland-Hall arrived and has pleaded not guilty to her murder. Clark County Sheriff's Office Detective Cruz spoke with the alleged scammer on the phone following the fatal shooting, footage obtained by ABC showed. 'May I ask who I'm talking to?' Cruz demanded. The scammer replied that 'this is the officer speaking,' to which Cruz responded 'Okay... what officer?'

Two intruders who stormed into a $7million Newport Beach mansion in the early hours of Tuesday morning were armed with guns and zip ties. Andrew Miguel Rosas, 24, was shot while his  accomplice was killed after being shot in the head. Police have describe the incident as a 'targeted attack' and involved a wealthy Chinese family who were renting the property. The neighborhood, typically quiet, was disrupted by screams as police responded to the home invasion.
