If Joe Biden is successful in getting passed his massive capital gains tax rate hike, Americans in 11 states will be paying next year upwards of 50 percent when they sell off their assets. The President's Fiscal Year 2025 budget proposal includes increasing the top marginal rate on long-term capital gains dividends up to the 44.6 percent mark, which is the highest ever since the tax was implemented a century ago. A purported Russian military training ground was seen being hit by multiple explosions typical of an ATACMS strike in footage captured by a drone flying high above. Trillions of periodical cicadas are expected to emerge across the U.S. this spring and summer in an insect event which has not happened in over 200 years. An enormous dead alligator distracted a driver in Louisiana and caused a car crash on Paris Road around 6.30am Monday. One car swerved off the road into a nearby bayou. Those involved in the crash were not seriously injured, witness Kayden Koffler said. Koffler, who wasn't present at the time of the crash, told NOLA.com the alligator was dead when he showed up for work at Gulf South Automotive, near the crash scene, that morning.
